Who this policy covers

This policy describes the BannedStory 4 Revived community site and its supporting asset and bug-report services. For questions about this policy or a request concerning information you submitted, use the contact instructions.

Your editor files

You do not need a site account to use the editor. Project files and pictures you open are processed in your browser, and saved projects and exports are downloaded to your device. Opening or editing a project does not automatically publish it to the community tracker.

The editor requests catalogs, thumbnails, and artwork from our asset service as you browse and load items. If you send a bug report, a screenshot of your current editor view and a copy of your current project are attached automatically and sent to the reporting service as described below.

Bug reports and optional contact details

Sending a bug report transmits your description, technical diagnostics, asset details, and the automatically attached screenshot and project copy. Reports are used to investigate problems and improve the editor. The description, diagnostics, asset details, optional credit name, and links to uploaded screenshots or projects can appear on the public GitHub community tracker. Anyone with an attachment link may be able to view or download it.

If you provide a contact email in the editor’s report form, it is stored separately in private Cloudflare storage for follow-up, excluded from the public issue, and set to expire after 90 days. Public issue history can remain available after report attachments are removed. Copies made by other people are outside our control.

Do not include sensitive information in report text, screenshots, or projects. To ask about removal of a submission, provide its issue URL or report identifier using the contact instructions.

Hosting and abuse prevention

Cloudflare delivers the site and its assets and supports the bug-report service. Requests necessarily expose connection information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information, and request time to the infrastructure handling them. This information supports delivery, security, and abuse prevention; the report service uses IP addresses to limit repeated submissions.

The reporting form uses Cloudflare Turnstile for automated-abuse checks. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for how Cloudflare handles information.

Videos and external services

The homepage and MMV collection embed YouTube videos. Loading those pages connects your browser to YouTube, which can receive connection and device information and use cookies or similar storage under its own policies. See Google’s privacy policy and our Cookies & privacy choices page.

Following links to GitHub or Ko-fi takes you to a separate service. GitHub handles tracker accounts and public issues under its privacy statement. Ko-fi handles support payments under its privacy policy. Payment details entered on Ko-fi are not collected by the editor.

Google advertising

The site is being prepared for Google AdSense. These pages do not currently load Google advertising code. If Google ads are enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website or other websites. Google’s advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites on the Internet.

If advertising is introduced, this policy and the site’s privacy choices will be updated to identify the services in use and provide the applicable consent controls.

You can use browser settings to manage cookies and site data, choose whether to send a report, and leave the optional report email blank. Depending on where you live and the information involved, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information, or to object to certain processing.
