Questions and feedback

Start with the user guide for creating characters, working with layers, saving files, and importing older projects. For questions, suggestions, and reproducible problems, use the BannedStory community tracker on GitHub. Posting there requires a GitHub account.

The tracker is public. Do not post passwords, account details, personal contact information, or files you do not want other visitors to download.

Report an editor problem

In the editor, choose Help → Report a Bug. Describe what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead. Include the affected item or map name and any steps that reproduce the problem.

Review the report before sending it. The form automatically attaches a screenshot of your current view and a copy of your current project. The report text, diagnostics, asset details, links to those attachments, and an optional credit name can be published to the community tracker. An optional contact email is stored privately for follow-up and is not included in the public issue.

You can also open an issue directly. If you share an old project, keep the original and upload only a copy you are comfortable making public. See the bug-report privacy details.

Privacy, attribution, and rights concerns

To flag a privacy issue, incorrect attribution, or content you believe should be removed, contact the maintainers through the tracker. Include the relevant page URL or report number and a brief description so the content can be located.

If the matter needs private correspondence, post only a request for a private follow-up channel. Do not put identity documents, legal documents, or sensitive personal details in a public issue. A dedicated private contact address is not currently listed on this site.
